Namma Metro
Birla Sarjapur Road is close to Ibbaluru metro station in the upcoming Red Line. The Red Line, or Hebbal-Sarjapura Line in Bangalore, is expected to be operational around 2030. It is part of Phase 3B of the Namma Metro, which is scheduled to start in 2025 and continue into the mid-2030s.
The Red Line will be a 36.59 km line that will run from Sarjapur to Hebbal, passing through the city center and connecting several areas. It will include 28 stations and will be a combination of elevated and underground lines.
Ibbaluru is an interchange station on Outer Ring Road (ORR) that connects with the Blue Line. The Blue Line Metro in Bangalore is a 58.19-kilometre section comprising 30 metro stations. It is being developed in two phases: Phase 2A and Phase 2B.
Under Phase 2A, a line connecting Central Silk Board and KR Puram, comprising 13 stations, will be developed. Under Phase 2B of Namma Metro, a section connecting KR Puram and the Kempegowda International Airport will be developed. It will comprise 17 metro stations.
Birla Sarjapur Road is well-connected to the major metro stations on the Red Line. It offers a smooth commute to the residents.
